The Girl Scout Council of the Apalachee Bend, Inc. is excited to
present Medic First Aid Pediatric Plus first aid/cpr/aed
training on our training schedule on a regular basis for the first
time this year. This is the most recent course added to GSUSA’s list
of approved courses for first aid/cpr training in Safety-Wise. The
relaxed atmosphere adds to the ease with which you learn about your
role as a first aid provider and practice your hands-on skills with
a Medic First Certified Instructor. This video-based training is
approximately 6 hours in length. You receive your card by passing a
skills demonstration and a written, open-book test.
You will leave this class with your book, your card, a patch, and a
two-year certification. Cross-over and retraining options are also
available. Call Anne Hallman, Training Manager, at (850) 544-3411
for additional information.
If you need First Aid/CPR Certification and are unable to attend our
scheduled sessions, the American Red Cross Chapters in Panama City
and Tallahassee offer courses on a frequent basis that satisfy GSCAB
and Safety-Wise requirements. Certification is offered through both
the Tallahassee and Panama City chapters of the American Red Cross.
Visit the respective websites for class information, dates and
times.

appropriate fee to the council office well in advance of your

Community (2006) from the Front Desk at the council office. You
will not be admitted to the class without the book.
