"Being a troop leader provided me the opportunity to offer scouting to my granddaughter. The Girl Scouts has many good programs, networking and growth at all level for girls."
Betsy Henderson, Troop 165 & 775 Leader

Volunteer Opportunities for Girl Scouts are almost unlimited! Adults are needed to work directly with the girls, assist the service team, help with special programs and events, share skills with girls, and much, much more. The following positions are currently available. Watch this page for new positions, or call the Council Office at (850) 386-2131 to find out how you can become a Girl Scout volunteer!

Our greatest need is always for committed, enthusiastic adult volunteers to work directly with the girls on a regular basis. Leaders, assistant leaders, and advisors help girls have An Experience Unlike Any Other. You don't have to have a daughter or any Girl Scout experience; training is provided. Both women and men over 18 are encouraged to accept this challenge! Complete the online volunteer profile if you are interested.

Volunteers are needed to help with the PreK to Daisy Head Start Program at local Pre K facilities and schools. These are very special opportunities to make a difference in a girl's life. For more information on this exciting opportunity, complete the online volunteer profile or call the Council Office at (850) 386-2131.

As a Girl Scout volunteer, you’ll provide a truly meaningful contribution to the development of girls and young women in your community. You’ll provide the support, supervision and encouragement that all girls need during their developmental years. You can sign up to be a volunteer by yourself, as a parent of a Girl Scout, with a friend, husband or boyfriend, or as a part of an organization. Special interest groups, student organizations, sororities and clubs are all encouraged to get involved in Girl Scouting.
