Registration Process

To register for an event, fill out an Event Registration Form [pdf].  The listed “Adult in Charge” will be the recipient of the event confirmation information. Registrations will not be accepted without payment and the completed event registration form. We cannot “hold” spaces for any reason. Spaces can only be reserved by submitting appropriate paperwork and payment.

Juliettes or individuals: Girl Scouts registered as individuals need to use the Individual Event Registration form to register for events. A parent/guardian must accompany the Girl Scout and remain on-site for the duration of the event unless otherwise noted.

Cancellation: If your troop or any of your registered girls will not be able to attend an event that you have registered for, you must let us know in writing.

Please submit this information to the Tallahassee Service Center or fax to the council office at (850) 386-2093. In order to receive a GSCAB Program Credit, your written cancellation must be received at least 2 weeks prior to the event. If the council is notified less than 2 weeks prior to the event date, then a credit will not be issued.

Refunds: In the event the program department cancels an event, a refund check for the full amount will be issued. If the troop or individual must cancel their registration, a GSCAB Program Credit will be issued—not a refund. Please see Cancellation procedures above.

Tagalongs: Due to insurance regulations and safety issues, siblings and non-Girl Scouts (tag-a-longs) cannot attend or participate in Girl Scout Program events or activities unless otherwise noted.

Girl and Adult Ratio: Each Girl Scout troop is responsible for providing the required number of adults who will provide leadership and supervision to the girls and remain with them throughout the duration of the activity. In the case of individual girl registrants, at least one adult should accompany them to the event/activity. Under no circumstances should girls be left unattended or unsupervised at events. Please refer to Safety-Wise Program Standard 13 for appropriate girl-adult ratios for your Girl Scout troop.
