Individual registration. Girls may register individually and will be assigned to a group. Bring a friend Bring-A-Friend program. This program is designed to help recruit new members.

Cadette, Senior, or Studio 2B program.

  • First come, first served - Registrations are taken on a first come, first served basis.
  • Random selection - Registrations will be chosen randomly after the closing date. Troops and individuals will be notified if they have been chosen for this event.
  • Minimum - The minimum number of participants must be registered in order to hold the event. If the minimum is not met, the event will be canceled.
  • Maximum - This is the maximum number of participants for this event. Registrations will be returned when the maximum is met.
  • Registration Opens - No registrations will be accepted before this date.
  • Registration Closes - No registrations will be taken after 5 pm EST on this date. This is a courtesy to the directors of the program so that they may plan accordingly for the event.
  • Refund Policy - Cancellations must be received in writing two weeks prior to the event date. All refunds will be issued as GSCAB Program Credits which may be used toward other GSCAB programs and must be redeemed within the current membership year.

Have fun spending the night at the Tallahassee Museum while earning your Animals Try-It.

Name: Program Aide Training

Cost: $7/girl No Adults

Fee includes personnel and materials.

Join us for a day of training as you begin your journey towards your Program Aide Award. This training prepares girls to assist younger girls in program activities. Girls must have completed 6th grade.

Bronze, Silver, and Gold Awardees are invited to this special award ceremony and luncheon in their honor.

Girls are asked to bring a project board with pictures and information on their project to display. Gold Awardees will be asked to speak about their projects as well.

Name: CFAS Clean-up Day

Cost: FREE

Let’s get ready for Resident Camp! Bring your tool box, rakes, pressure washers and chain saws. This is a great community service project for troops and families. A Camp for All Seasons is in need of some major and minor repairs and just general cleaning. There’s something for all ages and abilities. Do you have a special talent? Let us know if you or someone you know are an electrician, plumber, or contractor.

Due to the activities being outdoors in an open environment, we ask that children under the age of 5 and those who need close supervision stay at home.

A special patch will be given to all participants.

Name: Key West Summer Destination

Cost: $800/girl No Adults (Cost is approximate)

Fees include personnel, transportation, lodging, all meals, and activity fees.

Girls pack your sunscreen, bathing suits and shades. This Council Sponsored trip will be an action packed week of sun and fun. Girls will be expected to attend planning sessions throughout the year to decide on transportation, accommodations, and activities.

Girls may help fund their experience by using cookie bucks, nutty bucks, and assisting the council with fund raising activities such as the Run for the Cookies, car washes, and more.

Location: A Camp for All Seasons, 1600 Julow Lane, Tallahassee, FL 32310
Name: Summer Core Camp

Cost: $30/girl $30/adult

Fees include personnel, activity supplies, and 4 meals and 3 snacks.

Campers will learn important camping and outdoors skills such as knot tying, fire building, outdoor cooking, and more. Other activities may include canoeing, archery and hiking. Activities vary depending on the weather. All core camps will have different activities. Adults will be required to participate in the activities and will be expected to assist the girls throughout the weekend.

Dinner on Friday night is on your own, so please eat before you come or pack a dinner to eat upon arrival to CFAS.

Name: Girl Scout National Convention

Cost: $850/girl $850/adult (Cost is approximate)

Fees include personnel, registration, transportation, lodging, all meals, and activity fees.

The Girl Scout National Convention only happens once every three years. With all of the new changes happening with the Girl Scout Movement, this is the place to be to get first hand knowledge of what’s to come. Girl Scouts will have their voice at the Girl Leadership Conference where they will be able to express themselves and their ideas.
Girls must obtain principal approval for absences prior to the event.
