Troop 725 would like to thank you for your support to
students who attended Enterprise ( Ala ) High School, which was
hit by a tornado on March 1, 2007. There are still many needs
and the drive is being extended through Aug. 31.
The new high school will not be completed for three years. In
the meantime, students are attending classes at the community
college. They don’t have access to lockers and are having to
carrying their books with them at all times. Items still needed:
- Big sturdy backpacks with lots of spaces and pockets,
- Mechanical pencils,
- Enclosed pencil sharpeners where the shavings are
contained. There are no pencil sharpeners on the college
campus, and
- Chalk holders for teachers who are allergic to the chalk
dust.
If you are interested in donating any of these items,
please call Katie or Julie Beyer at 668-2068 or bring your
donations to the Council Office or East Hill Baptist Church
Thanks so much for your support of this service project to
help the students formerly
at Enterprise High School.
