Teen Woe-Be-Gone-We are excited to announce our upcoming teen
grief retreat, Teen Woe-Be-Gone, which will take place on
Thursday, November 8 from 8-4:30. This is a special day of
sharing, support, grief education and for teens in your area
that are experiencing the challenges and isolation that often
comes with grieving the loss of a loved one. Since so many kids
now work or have extracurricular activities on the weekends, the
retreat is on Thursday. Both Leon and Gadsden County Schools
have approved Teen Woe-Be-Gone attendance as an excused absence.
Teens will meet at Big Bend Hospice and then go by bus to the
Retreat at Bradley’s Pond, a peaceful country setting located
just outside of Tallahassee.
The service is a community outreach of Big Bend Hospice. Please
help us spread the word about this special service for grieving
teens. For More information contact Pam
Mezzina-850-878-5310 x199 or
http://www.bigbendhospice.org.
