The Girl Scout Council of the Apalachee Bend has more than 1,300 adult members and over 3,000 girl members and is part of Girl Scouts of the USA.

Girl Scouting is open to all girls ages 5 through 17 (or kindergarten through grade 12) and adult women and men who subscribe to the ideals stated in the Girl Scout Promise & Law.

The Girl Scout Council of the Apalachee Bend would like to invite you to join this wonderful experience of giving girls experiences that they will be able to reference for a lifetime. There are a lot of things your daughter can do. But there is nothing like the Girl Scouts. Girl Scouting is a doorway into whole new worlds. There will be adventures your girls might never take, skills they might never learn, and friends they might never meet. They will also learn values that have never been so important: leadership, service, character, and inclusiveness. There is discovery in every badge for every girl. The girls will discover things they didn't know about the world, or about themselves. Wide eyes, big smiles, open arms, and self-assurance are all the pictures of Girl Scouts. These are all the things they take out into the world.
